Garage Talk can exclusively reveal that Alistair Preston has left GSF Car Parts, according to reliable industry sources.

Preston, who held the role of Chief Customer Officer, has been a prominent figure in the UK automotive aftermarket for more than a decade. In 2013, he co-founded WhoCanFixMyCar.com, the online platform that connects motorists with local garages and service providers. The business went on to become one of the most recognised names in the sector, helping to transform how drivers book and manage vehicle repairs online.

His move to GSF Car Parts brought him into a senior leadership role at one of the UK’s largest motor factor networks. Preston’s departure marks the end of his tenure with the company.

Widely respected for his contributions to the aftermarket, Preston’s next steps are yet to be confirmed, and his future direction will be watched closely across the industry.

We asked GSF for comment, but they politely declined.
