Do you have Britain’s biggest rust bucket? Enter competition to win £250
Do you own a rusty, damaged, well-loved motor?
Leading trade car auction site Auction4Cars.com is on the hunt for Britain’s best bangers this new year, with the winner set to receive £250.
Research shows that the average age of cars on UK roads is now 9.5 years old – 1.5 years older than the average in 2019. The competition is looking for roadworthy cars that well exceed the national average.
John Hood, General Manager at Auction4Cars.com said: “We’ve all had a trusty and much-loved car that we’ve driven until it gave out. It can be difficult to part with a car that’s created so many memories over years, which is why we wanted to run this competition. You might have some great stories from your older car, and we’d love to showcase the best of them and hear about the memories they’ve given you.
“Whether your car seats are taped together or your paintwork has seen better days, if this sounds like this could be your car, we want to hear from you.”
