Imexpart supports next generation at local Castleford College
Imexpart Ltd (IMEX) has reinforced its commitment to supporting future talent in the sector - and the local community - with a donation to Castleford College’s Motor Vehicle Student Awards 2025.
As part of an initiative originally launched for Random Act of Kindness Day earlier this year, IMEX’s Marketing Professional, Gina Watson, visited the college last month to present £250 worth of Love2shop vouchers. The vouchers were awarded to high-performing students in recognition of their achievements in motor vehicle studies.
The gesture reflects IMEX’s ongoing efforts to invest in the next generation of automotive professionals, recognising the importance of nurturing skilled talent for the future of the industry.
Watson commented: “Supporting the next generation is vital to the long-term health of our sector. It’s a privilege to be able to give something back to our local community and encourage students who are just beginning their journey in the automotive world. Today’s learners are tomorrow’s technicians, engineers and leaders - and we’re pleased to play a small part in their development.”
During the visit, Gina was welcomed by Rachel Wilby from Castleford College, who provided a tour of the facilities and introduced her to staff and students involved.
This initiative is part of IMEX’s broader commitment to supporting technical education, community engagement and industry development. By fostering connections with local colleges and training providers, the company hopes to inspire and support young people considering careers in the vehicle aftermarket and repair sectors.
