Yuasa continues proud sponsorship of Honda HRC Castrol MotoGP team

Yuasa’s association with Honda in MotoGP spans more than ten years

Yuasa is continuing its sponsorship of the Honda HRC Castrol MotoGP factory team, reinforcing a partnership built on performance, engineering excellence and a shared passion for motorcycle racing at the highest level.

As the 2026 MotoGP season begins, the Yuasa brand once again features as an official sponsor of Honda’s factory MotoGP programme — a visible symbol of Yuasa’s long-standing relationship with Honda and its deep roots in global motorcycle competition.

Yuasa’s association with Honda in MotoGP spans more than ten years, originating during the Repsol Honda Team era and continuing today with Honda HRC Castrol. Throughout multiple seasons and regulatory changes, the Yuasa brand has remained closely aligned with Honda’s premier-class racing effort, reflecting consistency, trust and shared engineering values.

This long-term sponsorship underscores Yuasa’s position not only as a supporter of elite motorsport, but as a brand that understands the demands placed on motorcycles operating at the very limits of performance.

While the Honda RC213V MotoGP machine is a bespoke prototype developed exclusively for world championship racing and does not use an off-the-shelf Yuasa battery, the principles behind its development closely align with those behind every Yuasa motorcycle battery.
