Autowave’s YouTube channel hits 10,000 subscriber mark

Autowave’s content has proven to be popular but, most importantly, informative and valuable

Autowave has reached 10,000 subscribers of its YouTube channel.

With more than 150 videos uploaded – a mix of how-to guides, demonstrations, product unboxings and introductions – and thousands of views on each, Autowave’s content has proven to be popular but, most importantly, informative and valuable to its captive audience of locksmiths, technicians and motor factors.

What’s popular among subscribers?

The most popular video on the channel is a tutorial of how to clone a manual key on a Vauxhall using the Xhorse Key Tool Max. A common scenario for locksmiths and workshops, the video has amassed nearly 86,000 views.

The next most popular video, with 66,000 views, shows viewers how to clone a transponder chip from an original key to produce a manual spare key for a Mercedes Citan. An Xhorse cloning transponder was used.

Boasting 45,500 hits, the channel also allows the audience to see a demonstration and learn how to read an eight-legged EEPROM data using the Xhorse Mini Prog and Xhorse app.

Another method of training

Autowave’s dedication to producing these videos is unrelenting; over the last five years, it has built an archive of content that has proved beneficial and impactful. Alongside its in-person training courses, the YouTube channel is another illustration of how the company is investing in the automotive sector.

Video content and in-person training will continue and increase in 2026, with uploads and training dates to be revealed in due course. Autowave’s website will show a calendar, details of courses available and links to register online, while its burgeoning social media channels will keep followers updated.

Autowave’s Ravi Kotecha said: “To hit 10,000 YouTube subscribers is a pleasing milestone. We place emphasis on the channel, using feedback and enquiries as inspiration behind new videos, ensuring that when we create and upload a new one, it’s going to be in demand and appreciated by our audience.

“As new products come into our portfolio and vehicle technology continues to evolve, I expect more videos and training courses will be added to our portfolio.”
