ELTA eCAT Celebrates First Year Supporting Independent Motor Factors

One year on from launch, ELTA Automotive is celebrating the success of its online eCAT platform

One year on from launch, ELTA Automotive is celebrating the success of its online eCAT platform, which continues to support independent motor factors with fast, accurate access to product and application data across the company’s expanding portfolio of aftermarket brands.

Designed to provide a practical, accessible alternative to larger and often costly catalogue platforms, the ELTA eCAT has quickly become an important tool for customers of all sizes, particularly smaller independent motor factors looking to compete more effectively in an increasingly data-driven aftermarket.

The platform gives users access to comprehensive and continually updated catalogue data, helping customers identify the correct parts quickly and confidently.

Since launch, more than 55,000 units have already been processed through the system, with ELTA also seeing strong growth from customers actively using the platform.

For many independent motor factors, access to large-scale catalogue systems and integrations can represent a significant investment. The ELTA eCAT helps bridge that gap by offering free access to accurate application data and ordering support - helping smaller businesses compete more effectively while improving ordering accuracy and efficiency.

For registered ELTA customers, the eCAT also unlocks additional functionality including live pricing, stock availability and VRM lookup capabilities.

Tim Brotherton, Marketing Communications Manager at ELTA Automotive, said: “The aftermarket has changed enormously in recent years and access to accurate catalogue data is now absolutely essential. Whilst over 95% of our orders now arrive digitally through TecCom / PACT integrations, we never lose sight of the remaining independent customers who may not have access to those systems.

“The eCAT was designed to help level that playing field. It gives smaller factors easy access to up-to-date application data, pricing and ordering functionality without unnecessary barriers, and that fits perfectly with our wider ‘Champion the Aftermarket’ philosophy.

“We’ve been extremely encouraged by both the uptake and the growth customers are seeing through using the platform. Importantly, this is only the beginning and we’re already looking at how we can continue developing the eCAT further in the months ahead.”
