Ferdotti Motor Services wins IAAF Outstanding Garage Achievement Award

Ferdotti Motor Services has been named Outstanding Garage Achievement winner at the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) Awards, held on 4 December at the DoubleTree Hilton, Milton Keynes.

The national award honours the business for its outstanding customer service, operational efficiency, and dedication to keeping vehicles on the road.

"This award is recognition of the hard work and dedication of our team,” said Tim Guidotti, Managing Director of Ferdotti Motor Services. “We have always strived to combine quality service, operational efficiency, and strong relationships with our customers. Receiving this award is a huge honour for our entire team."

Ferdotti, a family-run independent garage with over 45 years of history, was singled out for its long-standing dedication to quality and forward-thinking approach to fleet operations. 

Fleet work accounts for around 90 per cent of the business, providing regular, high-value opportunities that have been key to sustainable growth.

"Fleet work has always been at the heart of our business," said Tim. "It delivers consistent, high-value opportunities and has supported the expansion of our workshops and capabilities over the years." 

Operating five workshops with a sixth EV-specialist facility opening next year, Ferdotti employs 30 skilled staff across 25 bays at its purpose-built West Bromwich site. The business has built a strong reputation among fleet operators for fast turnaround, professional service, and OE-quality parts.

Building on this expertise, Tim this year launched The Fleet Guy, the UK’s first Fleet Work Training Community for independent garages. The initiative provides training, mentoring, and networking, helping garage owners secure profitable fleet contracts and grow their operations. Workshops that complete the programme can become Fleet Guy Certified, gaining visibility and credibility with major fleet companies seeking trusted, high-quality independent providers.
