Four technicians through to UK final to prove they’re ‘Clearly the Best’

26 technicians took part in the regional heats across the UK with all four finalists securing their spot in the grand final

Four Auto Windscreens technicians have made it to the final of the company’s annual ‘Clearly the Best’ contest. They are Craig Foy, Peter Holton, Richard Barber and Spencer Monk, who work at the company’s Stoke-on Trent, Swansea, Croydon and Crayford service centres respectively.

26 technicians took part in the regional heats across the UK with all four finalists securing their spot in the grand final for the first time. It will be held at Auto Windscreens’ Training Centre in Chesterfield on 2 September, where one of the four will be crowned the champion.

With a combined 88 years’ experience in the industry, the finalists will be assessed on the key skills required for their role, including technical knowledge, customer service, health and safety, an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration, quality of workmanship and Environmental Social and Governance aspects of the job.

James MacBeth, Managing Director of Auto Windscreens said: “Each finalist has demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication and customer service both in their daily roles and to get to this stage in the competition. Their commitment to excellence reflects the high standards we set at Auto Windscreens and our ongoing investment in training, innovation and technical expertise. I’m very much looking forward to seeing them in action on the day - it should be quite a contest!”
