Garage Services Online to partner with The Race Group for main stage talk at The Blend

The session will focus on helping workshops see their business through the eyes of their customers

Independent garage owners attending The Blend in Birmingham on Saturday 18th October will have the opportunity to discover how to stand out online and attract more profitable work.

Garage Services Online will take to the main stage at 2:20pm for a session titled “Stand Out from the Crowd Online: Driving Profitable Work to Your Business,” hosted alongside Maisie Raine of The Race Group, Castrol’s route to market for independent workshops in the UK.

The session will focus on helping workshops see their business through the eyes of their customers and demonstrate how a strong digital presence can drive growth.

“This is about helping garages understand the digital world from their customers’ perspective,” said Alex Vere from Garage Services Online. “Even small, family-run workshops can compete with national franchises online but only if they know how to attract and engage the right customers.”

Garage Services Online will share practical insights and real-world examples of how a focused digital strategy can transform business performance.

The presentation will cover the key elements of a successful online presence, from strategic visibility and brand trust to content that converts and multi-channel engagement.

With most consumers now searching online before choosing a local service, garages with an effective digital strategy often see three times more enquiries than those without.

“Whether a vehicle owner is sat on their sofa having forgotten to book their MOT or broken down by the side of the road their first instinct is to search online for trust, transparency and genuine reviews,” added Alex. “If your garage isn’t visible, or doesn’t inspire confidence, those customers are likely to go elsewhere.”
