Garage Talk Radio Expands OnDemand Access Ahead of Enhanced Summer Schedule

Garage Talk Radio has announced changes to its broadcasting schedule from Monday 22nd June as the station prepares for an enhanced programme line-up later this summer

Garage Talk Radio has announced changes to its broadcasting schedule from Monday 22nd June as the station prepares for an enhanced programme line-up later this summer.

The move will see the station discontinue repeat broadcasts of its live shows, with all programmes instead being made available OnDemand within 24 hours via Mixcloud.

The change reflects the continued growth of Garage Talk Radio's audience and provides greater flexibility for listeners who prefer to catch up with content at a time that suits them.

Garage Talk Radio has already established a strong presence on Mixcloud, building a loyal and growing fan base while achieving chart success on numerous occasions. The OnDemand offering will continue to provide listeners with easy access to interviews, industry discussions, automotive news and special features.

The station's live programming remains unchanged for now, with broadcasts continuing every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8:00am until approximately 10:00am.

Outside of live show hours, listeners will continue to enjoy content from the popular Garage Talk Podcast, ensuring the station remains packed with automotive content throughout the week. Featuring in-depth interviews, expert insights and industry discussions, the podcast has become a key part of Garage Talk's growing content portfolio and offers listeners another way to stay connected with the automotive aftermarket.

Ben Coates, Founder of Garage Talk, said:

"Moving away from repeat broadcasts is a natural next step for Garage Talk Radio. Our audience is increasingly consuming content OnDemand, and Mixcloud has proven to be a fantastic platform for us. We've built a wonderful community there, achieved chart success and continue to see our listener base grow.

"Listeners can still join us live every Tuesday and Thursday morning, catch up OnDemand via Mixcloud, and enjoy episodes of the Garage Talk Podcast on the station when live programming isn't being broadcast. This gives our audience even more flexibility in how they consume our content.

"These changes also allow us to create space within our schedule as we prepare to launch enhanced programming later this summer. We're excited about what's ahead and look forward to sharing more details in the coming weeks."

Garage Talk Radio was launched to provide the automotive aftermarket with a dedicated platform for news, discussion and entertainment, featuring industry guests, expert insights and coverage of the issues affecting workshops, suppliers and motorists across the UK.

The upcoming enhancements, due to be introduced later this summer, will further strengthen Garage Talk Radio's position as the voice of the independent automotive aftermarket, with additional programming and new content opportunities planned.

Listeners can continue to tune in live via the Garage Talk website and Alexa-enabled devices, while OnDemand editions of all live shows will be available on Mixcloud within 24 hours of broadcast.
