  • Appointment reflects the increasing reliance on remote diagnostics to support advanced vehicle technologies and secure manufacturer systems

Hella Gutmann has further strengthened its macsRemote operations with the appointment of Leah Cudone as Remote Diagnostics Technician, significantly increasing the service capacity of its remote diagnostic support for increasingly complex vehicle systems.

Leah joins the UK macsRemote team, based at Hella Gutmann’s specialist remote diagnostics centre in Banbury, where she will support the processing of incoming diagnostic tickets. Her appointment further enhances the team’s capability to assist garages, helping ensure technicians receive timely and efficient technical support.

Leah brings extensive hands-on experience from across the automotive sector. Having entered the trade at 17, she has worked in both independent, family-run garages and within a Mercedes-Benz franchised dealer, progressing from service advisor to workshop controller.

“I’ve worked closely with diagnostic technicians using remote assistance, so I understand the process from both sides,” said Leah. “I’m looking forward to supporting independent workshops from behind the scenes, helping them resolve complex vehicle issues efficiently and reduce the need for unnecessary dealer intervention.”
