Kumho Tyre highlights innovation, safety and value following Road Transport Expo debut

Kumho Tyre UK has wrapped up a successful debut at the 2025 Road Transport Expo

Kumho Tyre UK has wrapped up a successful debut at the 2025 Road Transport Expo (RTX), showcasing its latest range of commercial vehicle (CV) tyres to an engaged audience of fleet operators and industry professionals.

The Kumho team welcomed visitors from across the transport sector to explore how its tyre technology is helping reduce total cost of ownership, increase vehicle safety, and maximise fleet performance through intelligent design and engineering.

On display were five of Kumho’s core products for steer, drive, and all-position applications: XA31, XD31, XS10, MD41, and MA12. The stand saw high levels of interest in the brand’s multi-life tyre offering, with particular attention drawn to two of Kumho’s latest innovations:

·       XD31 (Drive Position) – Designed for regional and highway use, this tyre features advanced 3D interlocking sipes and Kumho’s proprietary RevealiX Groove technology to deliver consistent traction and drainage throughout the tyre’s lifespan. A dual tie-bar design provides improved stability, while the low rolling resistance compound supports fuel efficiency and reduced emissions.

·       XA31 (All Position) – Built for longevity and versatility, the XA31 uses a directional tread pattern with a Tread Wear Balanced Bridge to combat uneven wear and enhance grip as the tyre ages. Engineered for quieter, more comfortable driving, it also resists stone trapping and delivers a long service life.

Throughout the show, Kumho’s team engaged with fleet professionals looking for more sustainable and cost-effective tyre solutions. Attendees praised the brand’s commitment to delivering premium performance at competitive prices, with a strong focus on safety, robust casing construction, and multi-life potential.

Richard Lyons, Managing Director of Kumho Tyre UK, commented: “RTX 2025 was a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with fleet professionals and demonstrate how Kumho  can support their safety and cost-saving goals. It was clear that our message around reducing total cost of ownership while maintaining top-tier performance resonated strongly. We’re proud of the feedback we received and look forward to continuing those conversations in the months ahead.”
