Motul appoints new sales manager
Global Lubricant and Fluids brand, Motul has announced the appointment of Mike Hansford as Motul UK and Ireland National Sales Manager for PCMO, Motorsport and HD products.
Mike comes to Motul after a long spell with noted OE Component and Systems Manufacturer, Schaeffler and, having previously worked with braking company APEC Automotive, Mike brings more than 15 years’ experience of the automotive aftermarket to this new role.
Mike’s first involvement in the aftermarket came with Apec, where he worked in both marketing and sales, before taking up the role territory sales manager in South West England at Schaeffler. In his 11-year tenure with the company, he progressed to regional sales manager for South West England, before moving to a key accounts role.
As National Sales Manager at Motul for the UK and Ireland, his role will include spearheading Motul’s drive to acquire Buying Group business and increasing the brand’s presence in the general service and repair sector. He works in parallel with Motul’s National Sales Manager for Motorcycle and other Powersport applications, Jason Davies.
Mike will also be responsible for growing Motul’s business through its Heavy-Duty range in markets such as construction and agriculture as well, of course, as in the Commercial Vehicle sector and further help boost Motul’s already-strong presence in the performance and motorsport marketplaces.
