PACT strengthens digital connectivity across performance sector
PACT is strengthening its presence within the performance sector, supporting a growing network of specialist suppliers including ThyssenKrupp Bilstein, K&N Filters and MOTUL, as more and more businesses increasingly embrace digital trading.
With performance parts spanning suspension, filtration, lubricants and turbochargers, the growing network demonstrates the breadth of suppliers turning to PACT to make it easier and more efficient for customers to access their products.
As the performance market continues to evolve, speed, availability and ease of ordering are becoming increasingly important. Motor factors and other aftermarket buyers expect greater visibility of products and stock, alongside the ability to quote and order quickly through the systems they already use.
PACT helps bridge that gap by connecting suppliers and buyers digitally, removing unnecessary manual processes and enabling businesses to trade more efficiently.
For specialist suppliers in particular, this can provide an important route to a much wider customer network, making extensive and sometimes highly application-specific product ranges easier for buyers to access.
Recent additions include global high-performance oils and lubricants brand MOTUL, joining established performance names including ThyssenKrupp Bilstein and K&N Filters within PACT’s large – and ever growing - network.
ThyssenKrupp Bilstein’s recent implementation of TecCom via PACT has enabled the business to simplify internal processes, improve customer connectivity and support faster, more accurate ordering across the supply chain.
MOTUL has similarly adopted TecCom via PACT as part of its digital-first approach to trading in the UK and Ireland, helping reduce manual order handling, improve accuracy and integrate more closely with customers’ existing workflows.
Matthew Say, Managing Director at PACT, said: “The performance sector is an exciting and important part of the automotive aftermarket, and we’re seeing increasing recognition from suppliers that digital connectivity can play a significant role in supporting their growth.
“PACT has been trusted by the aftermarket for more than 20 years, and during that time the technology and the way businesses trade has changed enormously. What hasn’t changed is our focus on connecting the industry and helping suppliers and buyers do business more effectively.”
PACT supports a wide network of businesses across the sector, providing the digital infrastructure required to connect suppliers with their customers and streamline processes throughout the trading relationship.
Its established presence and aftermarket expertise mean suppliers benefit not only from technology, but also from a team that understands the requirements of the sector and can support businesses throughout implementation and beyond.
Say concluded: “The performance market is another great example of where digitalisation can unlock opportunities. We want to continue expanding the network, bringing more suppliers and buyers together and making it easier for businesses across every area of the industry to trade.”
