Servicesure has recognised the UK’s highest-performing independent garages at its annual awards at the Concorde Centre in Manchester, with Ashwell Motors named Best Overall Garage.

Bringing together garage owners, supplier partners and industry leaders, the event celebrated excellence across key areas of the modern aftermarket, including customer service, electric vehicle capability, fleet servicing and regional performance.

The awards underline the continued evolution of the independent sector, as garages invest in new technologies, expand fleet relationships and raise operational standards to meet changing vehicle parc demands.

2026 award winners:

  • Customer Service Award: EAC Telford

  • EV Garage of the Year: EAC Telford

  • Fleet Garage of the Year: Magnet Autos

  • Supplier of the Year: YUASA

Regional Garage of the Year winners:

  • North West: Ashwell Motors

  • North East: Charlie Taylor Garage Services

  • Midlands: Elite Vehicle Repairs

  • South West: Cleevely Electric Vehicles

  • South East: Swanley Garage Services

  • Scotland: Balmoral and Crown

  • Wales: GP Motors

All regional winners were considered for the overall title, with Ashwell Motors selected as Best Overall Garage.

The introduction of the Fleet Garage of the Year category for 2026 reflects the growing importance of fleet work within the independent sector, as more garages develop the capability to support high-volume and commercial clients.

Adam O’Neill, Partnership Director at GSF Car Parts, said: “These awards recognise businesses that are not only performing at a high level today, but are actively adapting to the future of the aftermarket, whether that’s EV capability, fleet servicing or consistently delivering high standards for customers.”
