TechMan enhances workshop capabilities with new MOT history integration

TechMan has launched a new MOT History feature, delivering enhanced insight and operational efficiency to workshops - by enabling seamless access to a vehicle’s historical MOT data directly within the platform.

The latest integration allows both front-of-house staff and technicians to quickly retrieve a vehicle’s MOT record, including past test results, advisory notices and failure reasons, all without leaving the TechMan system. This improved visibility supports more informed decision-making during repairs, accelerates job scheduling and delivers better customer communication.

By consolidating MOT history into the existing workflow, TechMan is helping garages improve their pre-inspection process. The feature enables service advisors to anticipate potential issues before a vehicle even enters the workshop, while technicians can use historical data to prioritise safety-critical tasks and plan job allocation more accurately.
