ZF Aftermarket hosts exclusive training at state-of-the-art facility
ZF Aftermarket recently welcomed members of its ZF [pro]Tech Plus network to its state-of-the-art facility at Blythe Valley Business Park in Solihull for a two-day technical training and networking event designed to boost knowledge, share insights and strengthen workshop capabilities.
The event marked the latest in a series of insightful training experiences available exclusively to ZF [pro]Tech Plus members. Covering the ZF 8HP transmission range – including hybrid variants – as well as common DCT/DSG systems and Sachs dual clutch operation, the sessions combined hands-on training with diagnostic support and real-world examples.
Delegates also enjoyed a tour of ZF’s on-site R&D centre and took part in an in-depth technical Q&A hosted by ZF’s UK technical team.
Participants praised the quality and depth of the training. Callum Tether from Sheffield Gearboxes said: “I’ve done a few of these courses now, and to be honest this has been the best one by far. There’s always a lot of information, resources and support.”
Steve Taylor from Chester Automatic Transmission Centre added: “Fantastic. Great knowledge and technical insight. It’s also been great to network with others who share the same interests.”
In the evening, attendees were treated to an interactive racing experience at Birmingham’s F1 Arcade, where they competed as teams in F1 simulators, taking on some of the world’s most challenging circuits and enjoyed dinner and drinks before day two of training.
Stuart McLeod, ZF Aftermarket, Technical Support and Training Lead, said: “It was a great couple of days and fantastic to welcome ZF [pro]Tech Plus members to our facility. The feedback has been brilliant, and we look forward to rolling out more events like this in the near future to keep supporting the UK aftermarket with training, innovation and engagement.”
