Brake Engineering strengthens coverage with latest caliper introductions
Brake Engineering has expanded its remanufactured braking range with the introduction of 24 new part numbers, covering an extensive range of caliper applications, reinforcing its commitment to quality, coverage, and sustainable manufacturing.
The latest additions feature both left- and right-hand fitments across front and rear axles, designed for a wide selection of popular vehicle manufacturers including Fiat, Citroën, Peugeot, Vauxhall, Opel, Renault, Hyundai, SsangYong and Land Rover.
Each caliper undergoes Brake Engineering’s rigorous 10-stage remanufacturing process at its Centre of Excellence in Wrexham, meeting ISO international quality standards. All accepted core units are fully dismantled and rebuilt with 100% brand-new wearing components – including pistons, seals, sliders, and circlips – with CNC multi-spindle machines ensuring precision in piston and slider production.
To ensure performance and longevity, every caliper is finished with a protective electroplating process and must pass stringent OE-level multi-stage high- and low-pressure testing before being released to the market.
This continued range expansion follows Brake Engineering’s independent competitor testing campaign, which identified 29 structural and mechanical defects across three rival brands, reinforcing the importance of choosing trusted, quality remanufactured components.
