Laser Tools introduces the 9197 Under-Bonnet Compact Work Lamp, a 500 mm magnetic COB work light designed for professional technicians and home enthusiasts who need bright, reliable, hands-free illumination in confined spaces. With angle-adjustable magnetic end mounts, dual hanging hooks and a selectable infrared “wave” sensor, the 9197 makes under-bonnet and under-vehicle work faster, safer and far less fiddly. True hands-free convenience: two angle-adjustable magnetic ends plus two hanging hooks let you mount the lamp securely in awkward positions while both hands are free to work.
Wave-sensor on/off: an infrared “wave” sensor lets you switch the lamp on or off without touching it — perfect for greasy hands or when repositioning in tight spaces.
Powerful, even light: 10W COB output with two brightness settings — 500 lm (low) and 1,000 lm (high) — gives broad, bright illumination ideal for inspection, repairs and detailing. The COB (chip-on-board) LED lights a wide surface rather than a single bright point, it gives a smooth, uniform beam that fills the area you’re working on—handy when you’re inspecting or working inside an engine bay.
