The new Power-TEC 92777 Infra-Red Paint Drying Lamp is a compact, portable curing solution designed to help bodyshops reduce repair times and improve workshop efficiency. Ideal for spot repairs and small to medium-sized paintwork, the 1KW infra-red lamp delivers fast, controlled heating wherever it is needed.

Mounted on a folding tripod with an integral carrying handle, the mains-powered unit is easy to position around the workshop and folds away for convenient storage when not in use. The lamp features a single short-wave quartz halogen bulb, producing temperatures from 40°C to 100°C, with an adjustable timer offering drying cycles from 1 to 30 minutes.

Suitable for a wide range of workshop tasks, the lamp is ideal for accelerating the drying of filler, primer and paint, assisting with adhesive strip removal, or pre-heating panels prior to spraying. It provides an effective baking area of 0.5 x 0.6 metres, while the adjustable stand offers a working height from 640mm to 1520mm to suit different repair locations.

Operating from a standard 230V mains supply, the unit has a maximum power output of 1050W and is supplied with a 3.6-metre cable fitted with a 3-pin BS plug. Replacement quartz bulbs are available separately (Part No. 63140).
