Extend your reach with the Laser Tools telescopic air ratchet
Air ratchets are a workshop essential for quickly loosening and tightening fixings in confined spaces, but even they have their limits when access is restricted. The new Laser Tools 9418 Telescopic Air Ratchet overcomes this by combining the speed and convenience of a pneumatic ratchet with a four-position extendable shaft, allowing technicians to reach further into engine bays and other awkward working areas.
Intended for professional automotive and industrial use, the 3/8" drive ratchet offers four preset working lengths of 340 mm, 375 mm, 410 mm and 445 mm, enabling users to extend their reach without resorting to awkward extension bars or improvised methods. It's ideal for accessing recessed fasteners around engines, transmissions, suspension components and other confined areas where space is limited.
Delivering 54 Nm of torque at a free speed of 280 rpm, the tool provides the speed and power needed for fast removal and installation of threaded fasteners while reducing operator fatigue compared to manual ratchets. A swivelling trigger and swivelling exhaust further improve usability, allowing the tool to be positioned comfortably without directing exhaust air towards the workpiece.
Designed for everyday workshop use, the ratchet features a 1/4" BSPT air inlet, is suitable for use with a 3/8" air hose, and consumes approximately 5 cfm of air. Weighing 1.4 kg, it balances reach, strength and control for demanding workshop applications.
Whether working deep within an engine bay or tackling awkwardly positioned fasteners, the Laser Tools 9418 helps technicians complete jobs faster and with less effort.
