Hot glue dent repair combined with the accuracy of a slide hammer
Hot glue dent repair has revolutionised the way body technicians tackle minor dents and creases—preserving factory paint finishes while delivering professional results. Power-TEC’s new 92727 PDR Hot Glue Dent Pulling Kit combines the precision of hot-glue pulling with the force and accuracy of a slide hammer, giving technicians a versatile tool for efficient, damage-free panel straightening.
Hot-glue PDR works by adhering specialised glue tabs to the outer surface of a dent. Once set, a controlled pulling force is applied—gradually working the metal back into its original contour. This method avoids the need for fillers or repainting, reduces cycle times, and maintains the integrity of modern OEM paint systems.
At the heart of the 92727 kit is a 500mm carbon-steel slide hammer featuring a 1.3kg striking weight on a standard M12 × 1.75” thread. Its robust construction delivers consistent impact force, while the slide hammer action ensures smooth, controlled pulls—ideal for both shallow creases and deeper indentations.
The kit is supplied with:
Six assorted glue puller pads for varied surface profiles
Two straight pad holders (50mm & 125mm—to connect to the slide hammer), for flexible application
One M12 × 1.75 pad-holder adaptor (also available as part no. 62708) to ensure secure tab attachment
