Laser Tools introduces Rear Hub Nut Tool for MAXUS V90 & Deliver 9 vans

Servicing rear brakes, handbrake shoes, or half‑shafts on post‑2019 MAXUS V90 and Deliver 9 vans just got safer and easier.

Servicing rear brakes, handbrake shoes, or half‑shafts on post‑2019 MAXUS V90 and Deliver 9 vans just got safer and easier. The new Laser Tools’ Rear Hub Nut Tool (part number 9187), is engineered to engage the 2‑pin, 88 mm Ø hub nuts—torqued to over 500 Nm—so technicians can remove and refit them without damaging the nut or axle components.

This extremely high torque figure means that improper removal methods (whacking them with a drift!), can deform the nut, damage the splines, or even compromise the half‑shaft seal. The Laser 9187’s precision‑machined 2‑pin profile engages fully with the nut’s recesses, delivering a secure fit every time. Due to the 500 Nm+ tightening requirement, Laser Tools recommends pairing this socket with a torque multiplier (for example, part number 7318) or equivalent.

  • Vehicle compatibility: MAXUS V90 & Deliver 9 (2019 onwards).

  • Drive size: 3/4" drive for use with torque multiplier or breaker bar.

  • Socket profile: Two‑pin pattern to match factory Maxus hub nuts.

  • Dimensions: 88 mm outside diameter; carbon‑steel construction for maximum strength.

  • Usage Note: Due to the nature of the 2-pin fixing this socket is not suitable for impact tools.

With the 9187 Rear Hub Nut Tool, professional workshops and fleet operators can carry out rear axle servicing on MAXUS V90 and Deliver 9 models quickly, accurately, and without collateral damage—ensuring uptime and reliability for commercial clients.
