New cooling system vacuum refill kit
As electric and hybrid vehicles become an everyday presence in workshops, so does the demand for specialist servicing equipment. New to the Laser Tools’ range is the Cooling System Vacuum Refill Kit (part number 9116), a comprehensive solution designed to refill cooling systems across EVs, hybrids, and traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles—quickly, safely, and without the risk of airlocks.
Modern EV and hybrid powertrains rely on intricate cooling circuits to maintain battery, inverter, and motor temperatures. These systems are highly sensitive to airlocks, which can cause performance issues or component damage if not properly purged. The 9116 kit provides a professional-grade, vacuum-fill method, ensuring a completely air-free refill every time.
Supplied with a range of current EV-specific cap adaptors—including applications for Fiat, MG, Renault, and Tesla—the kit also integrates seamlessly with Laser’s popular 5614 cooling system pressure test kit cap set. The 9116 is air-operated via a new venturi-style vacuum pump, allowing technicians to draw a vacuum through any Laser Tools screw-on cap, then refill the system under negative pressure.
Whether servicing next-generation EVs or conventional ICE cooling systems, the 9116 helps technicians meet modern demands with confidence.
