New Valeo NOx sensor range covers 40 million vehicles

Valeo Service UK is helping the aftermarket meet the growing demands of modern emission systems with the launch of its new Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) sensor range, introducing 71 new references designed to deliver accurate measurement and long-term durability across European vehicle applications.

The latest expansion strengthens Valeo’s emission control offering, providing coverage for more than 40 million passenger cars. By matching European fleet composition across a wide range of makes and models, the new range helps reduce catalogue gaps and gives workshops and distributors greater confidence when sourcing replacement components for complex exhaust systems.

As emissions legislation continues to evolve, accurate monitoring of exhaust gases has become increasingly important. NOx sensors play a critical role within Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems, measuring nitrogen oxide levels and helping ensure the system can convert harmful emissions into harmless nitrogen and water.

“Modern emission systems are becoming increasingly sophisticated, creating new challenges for independent garages that need reliable replacement parts and accurate technical information,” said Andy Swann, Managing Director at Valeo Service UK. “Our expanded NOx sensor range provides workshops and distributors with quality parts supported by the technical expertise and aftermarket support they need to achieve first-time-right repairs.”
