Overspray & Fine Detailing Clay Sheet — fast, safe prep for paintwork
Power-TEC has introduced the Overspray & Fine Detailing Clay Sheet (part number 92747) — a quick, easy alternative to a traditional clay bar for removing overspray, embedded contamination and light paint deformities prior to final polishing. The flexible yet shape-holding sheet is faster to use, simple to clean and fine enough — when used as directed — not to damage ceramic or professional polish finishes.
Ideal for bodyshops, detailers and restoration specialists, the Power-TEC clay sheet removes surface contaminants from painted panels, glass, chrome and plastic without the dragging or distortion sometimes associated with heavier abrasives.
Why detailers will like it:
Faster and neater than clay bars — sheet conforms to panels but keeps a working profile for controlled use.
Safe on fine finishes — engineered to be gentle enough for ceramic coatings and professional polishes when used with lubrication.
Multi-surface: works on paint, glass, chrome and plastic — great for final prep before polishing, sealing or ceramic coating.
Easy to clean and reuse — simply rinse the sheet to clear collected contamination, then fold to expose a fresh surface.
How to use (best practice):
Wash the panel to remove loose dirt and grit.
Lightly mist the area with soap and water or a dedicated clay lubricant.
Gently rub the clay sheet across the surface using light, even pressure. Work one small panel at a time.
Rinse the sheet frequently to remove lodged contaminants and fold to expose a clean face when needed.
After decontamination, wipe the panel dry and complete any polishing or sealing steps.
When used as directed the product is not expected to damage paintwork. Always test in an inconspicuous area first
