Specialist lever tool removes Audi rear seats without trim damage

Accessing components beneath the rear seat on many Audi models can be frustrating without the correct release tool. Equivalent to OEM tool T40445, the specially shaped forked lever slides beneath the seat base so that it locates either side of the retaining hook. A simple upward levering action releases the seat latch cleanly, avoiding the excessive pulling force often used when attempting removal by hand.

Designed for Audi models that use latch-in style rear seat retainers, including the Audi e-tron, the tool is manufactured from durable carbon steel (S45C) and features a protective PVC coating that helps prevent damage to seat trim and painted surfaces during use.
