Herefordshire College students receive invaluable clutch system training

Schaeffler’s Technical Services Manager, Alistair Mason, recently visited Herefordshire College, where he provided around 40 students with invaluable clutch system training including common fitment issues and how to overcome them, advice on where to source information, plus an overview of other Schaeffler products and systems. 

Alistair said: “We regularly host training sessions for colleges or apprentices in their places of study or work and it’s always been a hit. They are young people who are eager to learn, and clutch systems can be an intimidating thing to work on, so if we can help them improve their knowledge, we will.

“As a business Schaeffler tries to assist young people on their automotive journey, as this is the generation who will be the future of the aftermarket, so it’s important to invest in them at the start of their career to help ensure they become, and remain, an asset to the aftermarket industry.

“The students at Herefordshire College were very enthusatic to learn new skills, so I’m confident the next generation of technicians will be fantastic!”
