  • Less than two months now remain until this year’s Race of Remembrance

Mission Motorsport has announced yet more vital support for this year’s Race of Remembrance on 8th/9th November, after agreeing a new partnership with leading British-based tyre brand Davanti Tyres.

Launched in 2015, Davanti has become renowned for its commitment to research and development, performance and producing tyres which are quieter, more efficient and, most importantly, safer for the end user.

As well as providing products from its extensive passenger car range to Mission Motorsport, Davanti has also given a significant donation to Race of Remembrance – The Forces’ Charity’s flagship annual event which will again take place this November at Anglesey Circuit in North Wales.

Run under the auspices of the British Racing and Sports Car Club (BRSCC), RoR is a unique 12-hour endurance race which was named Motorsport UK Event of the Year in 2024. Only road-car based racers with a maximum engine capacity of 2.0-litres, and running on road-legal tyres, are permitted.

Davanti’s products, which are sold in over 80 countries worldwide across five continents, are designed and developed in Europe. The whole range is put through a significant testing regime before coming to market, and for Davanti’s Protoura Race - the selected semi-slick tyre for the Race of Remembrance event - an added layer of live race testing was vital to assess its performance capabilities on track. The tyre was pushed to its limit in a series of racing events, from the 24hr Classic Sports Car Race at Anglesey circuit, to Cadwell Circuit and Silverstone.  Now in 2025, Protoura Race has competed in the Mini Challenge Clubsport and the Suzuki Swift Challenge as the control tyre for both series.

Exceeding the standards set by industry rating schemes, including EU labelling requirements and UTQG, Davanti prides itself on producing premium quality and reliability, competitive pricing and efficient order fulfilment.

In addition to its race type, Davanti’s impressive range includes fitments for SUVs, Ultra High Performance vehicles, seasonal tyres and all-terrain tyres. Car and van tyres are at the core of the brand’s production, along with run-flat options.

From the perspective of distributors and suppliers, Davanti has developed a comprehensive dealer support programme which ensures partners of the brand can and do enjoy a substantial competitive advantage in the market.

Sean Maddocks, Davanti Tyres Sales Director for the UK & Ireland, said:

“This partnership with Mission Motorsport is another huge milestone for Davanti Tyres and Protoura Race. The Race of Remembrance is such a highly respected, powerful event in the Motorsport calendar, and we are incredibly honoured to offer our support and be able to contribute to what promises to be an exhilarating 12 hours of racing with a very special cause behind it.”

James Cameron, CEO & Founder, Mission Motorsport:

“We are delighted to welcome Davanti Tyres as a Mission Motorsport partner, helping us drive the recovery of those whose lives have been impacted by military service. Not only is Davanti supporting the racers competing at Race of Remembrance with tyres from their Protoura range, it also underpins our off-road fleet with its Terratoura tyres, which gives the disabled beneficiaries access to the countryside.

“We are proud to carry the Davanti livery for the Race of Remembrance event that was named Motorsport UK’s 2024 Event of the Year.”
