Brabham motor racing team

ROWE UK has announced that former Formula One (F1) driver and Le Mans winner, David Brabham, has joined as a brand ambassador, bringing his passion and motorsport knowledge to the team.

As part of this collaboration, ROWE UK will be powering David’s Brabham BT62 car with its race-proven, plant-based lubricant as he competes in the 2024 GT Cup Championship.

Jeremy Aston-Philips, director at ROWE UK says: “We’re delighted to welcome David to the ROWE UK team!

“He has performance in his DNA, and he is passionate about preserving his family’s legacy and encouraging Brabham owners to use top-tier lubricants and fluids to keep their cars in race-ready condition, whether they be historic or contemporary. These values perfectly align with the ROWE brand.”

Brabham comments: “We are excited to be racing in the 2024 GT Cup Championship in the BT62, supported by ROWE. When it comes to racing, few things are more important for performance and reliability than engine oil.

“With its history in motorsport – particularly endurance racing – ROWE has acquired the experience and knowledge to develop world-leading lubricants for both track and road. I am passionate about sustainability and have been for many years. To be able to compete in a Brabham vehicle with plant-based oils and synthetic fuel is a huge step forward and an important one if we are going to keep ICE cars racing into the future.”

ROWE is at the cutting edge of lubricant formulation and production. It sees motorsport as a ‘mobile laboratory’ where products are tried and tested in the harshest of environments.

All of ROWE’s oils are designed to meet the rigorous demands of both modern and classic engines, ensuring optimal performance and protection. The brand’s commitment to sustainability is evident in its product formulations, which are designed to reduce environmental impact without compromising quality.

ROWE, distributed by MediaCo Imports (MCOIL) in the UK, is available for sectors including automotive and motorcycle, commercial vehicle, off-highway, marine, industrial, and agricultural as well as ROWE’s unique range of motorsport products.
