Auto Windscreens opens two new sites as ADAS calibrations more than double in south of Scotland

Auto Windscreens has opened two new sites in Paisley and Rosyth following Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibrations more than doubling in the south of Scotland (increasing by 134%) in January-July 2026 compared to the same period in 2023.

The company opened its Paisley service centre at Nethercommon Industrial Estate and its Rosyth site, based in Viking Way, in July.

Sean Draycott, Operations Director at Auto Windscreens commented: “We’ve seen a huge increase in demand for ADAS calibrations following windscreen replacements in the south of Scotland since 2023. This has informed our decision to open these two new sites, taking the number of service centres we have in the country to seven.

“Our Paisley and Rosyth locations mean we can serve customers in rural areas more efficiently and they can reach us quicker. This July, the average distances travelled by customers using our sites in the south of Scotland and the Glasgow area more than halved (62%) compared to July last year.”

Auto Windscreens is seeing demand for ADAS calibrations in Scotland reflected across the UK, as this type of work has increased by 91% since 2023 during the same period.

Sean added: “New vehicles and technologies are constantly coming onto the market and the Government recently announced its plans to mandate 18 vehicle safety technologies for new cars. This mean calibrations are bound to keep rising. Our investment in Scotland will continue to grow as we review new locations in the near future.”
