Autowave has announced the appointment of Dipen Kotecha to the new position of sales manager.

Autowave has announced the appointment of Dipen Kotecha to the new position of sales manager.

Dipen has been entrusted with managing accounts for all national distributors – including buying groups – strengthening sales in the process. Furthermore, he will be responsible for generating new business and spearheading marketing strategies.

This latest appointment, following recent additions to Autowave’s technical support and marketing departments, demonstrates the company’s investment and commitment to continuing the momentum it has enjoyed in 2025. The company’s potential has been converted into reality this year, with a record-breaking turnover in sales expected. Autowave wants to continue that path into 2026.

Impressive CV

Dipen possesses extensive experience in the mobile telecommunications industry, having worked for Sony Europe for more than 15 years. His impressive CV includes the account management of major UK and international phone networks.

While new to the automotive aftermarket, Dipen is confident his background and proven track record means he is well-placed to establish long-term relationships with Autowave’s national partners.

He said: “I’m excited to join Autowave, particularly at a time when there are huge growth plans and more potential for both us and our partners.

“It’s great to be given the opportunity to bring my proven experience in sales, marketing and account management to an industry that I’m really interested in and have followed for some time. I feel fortunate to be able to join an already well-established and highly regarded team.”

A family feel

For Ravi Kotecha, Autowave’s founder, not only is he thrilled to be expanding the team with someone of Dipen’s pedigree, but he is proud to be bringing a family member – his brother – into the business too. That said, this appointment isn’t a sentimental one – Ravi is confident Dipen will bring new, unique skills to Autowave.
