Autowave continues to invest in people with appointment of marketing executive
Autowave has announced the appointment of Hannah Hansom as its new marketing executive.
New to the automotive aftermarket but a seasoned marketing professional, Hannah has immersed herself into the trade and grabbed the opportunity presented to her.
In Hannah’s role, she covers a range of responsibilities, including planning and executing marketing campaigns, managing digital channels – like Autowave’s popular YouTube channel, burgeoning social media channels and mailshots – and creating content to showcase the range of products and services provided to locksmiths, motor factors and independent workshops.
Hannah also produces artwork for banners and flyers, as well as write blog posts and step-by-step tutorial guides. Her strong eye for design and branding, combined with marketing strategy experience, means her content has already made a strong impression – both in-house and on Autowave’s audience.
Strong cohesion
On her first few weeks in the role, Hannah said: “I’ve enjoyed it immensely; it’s been great getting to know the team and seeing how everything knits together as a business. There’s a strong sense of teamwork here, and I’ve already learned a lot about the company’s products and how the business operates.
“Even though I come from outside the sector, it’s clear that Autowave values both technical skill and customer service. I’m impressed with how Autowave equips workshops, motor factors and locksmiths to offer services that make a real difference for their customers. It’s a very dynamic trade, and there’s a lot to learn and contribute to.”
An excellent addition
Autowave’s Ravi Kotecha believes Hannah’s appointment is further evidence of the company’s investment in people and ambition to grow the business – following the recruitment of Dipen Kotecha as national sales manager at the end of last year.
As uptake of Autowave’s products and services continues, so does the need to bring people in that are passionate, conscientious and exceptional.
He said: “Upon meeting Hannah for the first time, I knew instantly that I would be offering her the position and was delighted that she accepted. Her energy, ideas and desire were infectious, and those attributes have already rubbed off on colleagues. She’s already proven to be a fantastic appointment.”
