Delphi Academy helps garages tackle brake squeal complaints

Delphi took centre stage at GSF TechFest at Wembley, by bringing its latest workshop solutions and expert guidance directly to vehicle technicians.

Luke Garratt, UK Technical Manager at Delphi, lead a live session on the main stage titled ‘What’s that Noise’, offering a definitive guide to eliminating brake squeal. Technicians discovered the root causes of brake noise and learnt practical techniques to minimise complaints in the workshop.

“Brake squeal remains one of the most common issues garages face, and it can be frustrating for both technicians and customers,” said Luke. “Brake squeal can happen on any vehicle, with any technician, and using any brand. It’s a huge drain on time and resources for workshops, distributors, and manufacturers alike.
