Independent garages now able to use new booking widget

The online tool is designed to bridge the gap between digital demand and independent garage requirements

Independent garages can now reclaim control of their online bookings, utilising a newly developed website widget called RampUp, which is a standalone booking widget from Garage Services Online

“While many independent garages have established a web presence, few have had access to the sophisticated, real-time booking capabilities used by national fast-fit and dealership networks, until now,” explains George Phillips, Operations Director at Garage Services Online.

The online tool is designed to bridge the gap between digital demand and independent garage requirements. RampUp functions across a full spectrum of needs: it can act as a simple enquiry tool, sending email confirmations to front-of-house, or as a fully automated system where live slots are managed digitally.

Beyond operational flexibility, the widget introduces a level of intelligent filtering previously seen only in manufacturer systems.

Using integrated VRN lookup, RampUp automatically filters the menu of services based on a vehicle’s specific fuel type, drivetrain, and transmission. This ensures customers are only presented with services relevant to their exact vehicle.

“We are seeing a definitive shift in the market,” said Jim Lang, Director at Garage Services Online. “Independent garage owners are realising that while they may have the skills, tools and expertise, they have often lagged behind in the digital customer journey.

“RampUp closes that gap, but it does so on the garage's terms. It’s about giving independents the digital firepower to compete, without disrupting what makes their business work.”
