Jayar Car Parts appoints Marc Wise to senior management team

Marc will also work closely with the IMF team as part of his wider role in supporting Jayar’s expansion plans

Jayar Car Parts is delighted to welcome Marc Wise to the position of assistant general manager – bringing with him over a decade of strong leadership, commercial awareness and ability to drive performance to the independent, family-owned motor factor.

Following the appointment of Darren Wykes and the acquisition of Independent Motor Factors (IMF) – taking its branch network to 70 – Jayar has bolstered its senior management team with the recruitment of Marc. As the distributor continues its journey of growth and development, Marc will act as a central point of contact for Jayar’s regional managers, strengthening communication and collaboration across the network. The motor factor is confident this will enable it to provide a greater service to customers.

Marc will also work closely with the IMF team as part of his wider role in supporting Jayar’s expansion plans and driving positive change across the business.

Upon joining Jayar – which is celebrating 50 years of serving the trade in 2026 – Marc said: “I’m excited to be joining Jayar at such a pivotal time for the business. I’ve seen firsthand how quickly the market is evolving and how important it is to balance strong relationships with the ability to adapt. What attracted me to Jayar is its unique position as a growing, family-run business with a clear ambition to expand while maintaining its core values.

“There’s an opportunity to strengthen communication across the network, build even closer relationships with customers and suppliers, and elevate the company’s presence in the market. Jayar has all the foundations in place – strong brands, a loyal customer base, experienced staff and an expanding footprint – and I’m looking forward to playing a part in helping the business grow.”

Marc will report directly to Jayar General Manager, Tom Curtis, who added: “I am thrilled to welcome Marc to Jayar. He has built a strong track record within the automotive sector, and his knowledge depth and practical experience will be invaluable to our independent, family-owned motor factor.”
