Thirty Under 30 returns for 2026 to celebrate the automotive industry’s rising stars

The awards are free to enter and open to individuals aged 30 or under who are already making an impact

Following the success of last year’s inaugural awards, Thirty Under 30 is returning for 2026 to shine a spotlight on the young innovators, problem solvers and future leaders driving real change across the automotive sector.

Taking place at the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event, held from 3 to 4 June 2026, Thirty Under 30 is designed to recognise and celebrate the next generation of talent within the automotive community.

The awards are free to enter and open to individuals aged 30 or under who are already making an impact across the industry. Whether working as technicians, a garage team member, parts specialist, apprentice, business support professional or in other key roles, the initiative celebrates those helping to shape the future of automotive sector.

Entrants and nominees will be assessed by an expert judging panel, including Tina Drayson, Alex Lindley, Tim Benson and Joanne Knowles, with the final 30 selected based on qualities including passion for the industry, career achievements, ambition, adaptability, resilience, forward-thinking and the ability to go above and beyond in their roles.

The final 30 will be recognised during networking drinks at the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event 2026, giving winners the opportunity to be celebrated on a national stage in front of colleagues, peers and industry leaders.

Joanne Knowles, Event Director at Messe Frankfurt, organisers of the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event, said: “Last year, Thirty Under 30 uncovered some truly inspiring young talent from across the automotive sector. We are delighted to bring the awards back for 2026 and continue celebrating the people who are already making a real difference in the industry.

“Thirty Under 30 is about recognising hard work, ambition and fresh thinking. It gives young professionals the chance to showcase their achievements and be celebrated by the wider automotive community.”
