Since they purchased the company in May 2021, Ross and Leanne expanded their Midlands based training centre into its new, purpose-built headquarters in 2024. Marking their business anniversary with an updated, fully MTS integrated MOT CRM, MOT Xpert alongside their consultancy, MOT Compliance Group - providing a full service offering to MOT testing stations.

Over the past five years, MOT Expert has significantly expanded its services, reputation and national reach, becoming recognised not only for high quality MOT training but also for its industry leading compliance and garage management solutions.

The latest additions to the team include MOT Consultants based in the South West and Scotland to better support their nationwide reach. The team are based around the UK but regularly come together for work socials and to take part in Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life - a cause made deeply personal following Ross’s life-changing cancer diagnosis in 2023. Since his recovery, Ross and the MOT Expert team have taken on various fundraising challenges, raising more than £14,000 so far for Cancer Research UK and are hoping to once again add to this impressive total.

Ross said: “Over the last five years we’ve focused on building more than just our MOT training academy. Having started with just two employees, we’ve grown because of the incredible people who make up our team - a team who genuinely want to help garages and MOT testers. We’ve created a complete support system to protect their businesses, meet DVSA standards, operate more efficiently and to ultimately support the MOT industry through economic, legislative and industry changes.

Our values have always been central to how we run the business. We’re incredibly proud of the relationships we’ve built with our team, students and clients over the years, many of whom continue to return to us for additional training and ongoing MOT compliance support and advice.”
