Motor Parts Direct bolsters national accounts team with senior appointment

Motor Parts Direct (MPD) has appointed Gary Holden as its new Head of Strategic Accounts, further strengthening its senior leadership team as the business continues to invest in growth and customer service across the UK.

Bringing more than 30 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, Holden joins MPD with an extensive background in sales, business development and national account management. During his career, he has held a variety of senior commercial roles.

He has previously led national accounts within major distributors in the sector, giving him significant expertise in developing strategic customer partnerships and driving business growth.

In his new role, Holden will lead MPD's National Account Team, focusing on developing and expanding the company's national accounts portfolio while ensuring customers continue to receive the highest levels of service across the business. He will also work closely with colleagues throughout MPD to strengthen processes and support the company's long-term commercial strategy.
