New era for Launch Tech UK as it announces acquisition

Launch Tech UK has been officially acquired by Launch Europe GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Launch Tech Co. Ltd, the global leader in diagnostic and automotive aftermarket equipment. This acquisition marks the beginning of a new chapter for the company as it continues to grow and enhance its presence in the UK. 

As part of this acquisition, Launch Tech UK has announced that its head office will be relocating to Milton Keynes this year. This move will allow the brand to enhance its customer service capabilities, expand product training opportunities and improve operational efficiency.

After 20 successful years at the helm, Dave Richards, owner and Managing Director, will be retiring this August. His leadership has been instrumental in building Launch Tech UK into a trusted name in diagnostics in the sector.

Richards commented: “My decision to retire comes after careful consideration, I’ve had much success leading the brand over the last 20 years and I believe I am leaving the future of the company in great hands within the Launch Tech worldwide family.” 

Eric Xue, CEO at Launch Tech Europe, said: “We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Dave for his dedication and exceptional leadership over the years. His legacy will continue to inspire us as we move forward.”

During the transition to the new Milton Keynes office, the company’s Plymouth location will continue to remain fully operational. There will be no disruption to services and Launch is committed to maintaining the high levels of customer service and support that its partners and customers have come to expect. 

The acquisition and relocation signify more than just a change of address. They represent a renewed focus on growth, customer satisfaction and continued innovation.
