Ring Carnation and OSRAM shine at its first Road Transport Expo
Road Transport Expo has been hailed a success by Ring Carnation and OSRAM. Both companies shared a stand (N28) for their first time exhibiting at the show, which continues to grow in popularity.
The stand displayed an extensive range of products from both brands and staff were on hand to demonstrate the benefits of the products and discuss opportunities with visitors.
Ring Carnation is a vehicle conversion electrical specialist that has been the market leading supplier of switching systems with the emergency services for more than 30 years, with genisysTM remaining the controller of choice.
Visitors were able to get to grips with the genisys™ system and how it manages the numerous applications within the vehicle to ensure power is maintained and provides safer working vehicles for the fleet manager and work force.
The genisys™ family of modules includes ECUs, Output Modules, a wide range of user interfaces, including Keypads and Touch Screens, CAN Bus interface modules and Protocol Converters for third party system integration.
As part of ams-OSRAM, Ring Carnation also has extensive access to OSRAM’s range of heavy duty driving and work lights, which were on prominent display on the stand with its own section and garnered a lot of interest.
OSRAM’s Marketing Manager, Terri Clark, commented: “We’ve seen the Road Transport Expo soar in the past few years and having walked the show a couple of times, we became convinced that it was a show we needed to have a presence at.
“While this was therefore our first time exhibiting at the event, our stand was a hive of activity, whether it was our customers coming to see us and discuss our new offerings, or potential customers, who wanted to see what we could help them with. As a result, we were thrilled with what we achieved from the show.”
