Supertracker unveils space-saving, tablet-controlled CCD aligner

Supertracker launched its next-generation CCD system on the first day of Automechanika UK 2025.

The manufacturer introduced the STR130 TC and STR420 TC, a 6 and 8 sensor CCD wheel alignment system controlled via a WindowsTab, stored on a sleek manoeuvrable storage solution.

Keeping pace with the modern workshop

Since acquiring Supertracker in 2022, Straightset has driven forward innovation across its wheel alignment range. From pioneering the UK’s first green laser alignment system to now evolving its popular CCD system, the company continues to respond to evolving workshop needs.

“This launch is all about listening to our customers and delivering a smarter, faster and more flexible alignment solution tailored for the modern workshop,” said Andrew Bates, Managing Director of Straightset.

“By reducing the footprint of the system and integrating a handheld tablet for readings right at the vehicle, we’re offering a space-saving and convenient option, without compromising on accuracy or performance.”

Key product benefits include:

·       Robust WindowsTab tablet with magnetic case: Securely mounts to lifts for instant data access under the vehicle.

·       Compact, cabinet-free design: Reduces workshop floor footprint while improving mobility.

·       Available with 6 or 8 sensor technology: Ensures precise, reliable alignment for a wide range of vehicles.

·       New, larger hangers: Capable of handling rim sizes up to 27” as standard.

·       Signature Supertracker ‘hang on’ system: Delivers safe, effective alignment with no risk of rim damage.

Official Launch at Automechanika 2025

The STR130 TC and STR420 TC officially launched at Automechanika Birmingham 2025 on Tuesday 3rd June, with live demonstrations and exclusive pre-order opportunities available on the Straightset stand (X78, Hall 18).

“CCD equipment offers a straight forward solution to wheel alignment that includes vehicle database, simple Bluetooth connectivity and before and after customer printouts. However, traditionally, these popular systems are housed in a cabinet, which takes up valuable floor space due to the static PCs and printers,” added Andrew.

“Our innovation, backed by strategic investment in new product development, delivers space saving, convenient solution for modern workshops, without compromising on precision or performance.”
