The Womanic gets a (workshop) makeover!

Popular influencer, Louise ‘The Womanic’ Baker, is the proud owner of a shiny new workshop

Schaeffler has spearheaded a project to modernise Louise Baker’s – more commonly known as the ‘Womanic’ – workshop

Popular influencer, Louise ‘The Womanic’ Baker, is the proud owner of a shiny new workshop, after a full refurbishment carried out as part of Schaeffler’s REPXPERT Millionaire Makeover campaign.

Other supporters behind the project included Ring, OSRAM, Shell, LKQ ECP and PAGID, who all contributed towards the makeover to ensure that Louise has a workshop which matches her drive and enthusiasm for the aftermarket industry.

She is now able to continue carrying out servicing and repairs, but will also be able to blog, vlog and post her popular everyday tales of life as a female mechanic from a sparkly new home.

The makeover was carried out by GDS Engineering, which normally creates seamless walling systems, pit workshops and hospitality areas for the likes of Haas and Williams in the motorsport industry, whilst the storage solutions were supplied by Dura, the renowned workshop specialist.

The Womanic project highlights and promotes Schaeffler’s latest REPXPERT ‘Millionaire Makeover’ promotion, where another  lucky garage will also be able to totally transform their workshop and reception area.

Garages can enter now here: https://www.repxpert.co.uk/en-gb/garage_makeover with the winners being announced in May 2026.

Marketing Manager, Jeff Earl, commented: “As one of the Auto Angels, Lou is a familiar and inspirational aftermarket figure, and after she supported the REPXPERT conference and Wrenches and Wisdom campaign, we felt it only right that we supported her by helping to deliver an exciting upgrade for her workshop.

“As our Millionaire Makeover promotion gathers pace, we also thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to showcase what a makeover can do for a garage, and the before and after pictures really show what can be achieved.

“We’re also really pleased that some other fantastic brands also wanted to come on board to help Lou, so a big thank you goes out to our friends at Ring, OSRAM, LKQ ECP, Shell and TMD Friction for their support.”
