TV favourite Ed Byrne to take the stage for evening entertainment at the IAAF Awards
The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has announced that acclaimed comedian, presenter and actor Ed Byrne will be providing the after-dinner entertainment at this year’s IAAF Annual Awards Dinner, held on the evening of Thursday 4 December 2025 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Milton Keynes.
A household name in British comedy, Ed is one of the UK’s most well-loved stand-up performers, with a career spanning over 30 years. His sharp wit, observational humour, and warm stage presence have made him a favourite on shows such as Mock The Week, QI, Have I Got News For You, and Live at the Apollo.
Ed’s ongoing nationwide tour of his critically acclaimed show, “Tragedy Plus Time”, voted British Comedy Guide’s Best Comedy Show 2023, has been extended until 2025, such is the demand from fans. Described as his most personal and funniest show yet, it draws on the quote, attributed to Mark Twain, to brilliant effect.
Whether trekking through Siberia for World’s Most Dangerous Roads, cooking up a storm on Celebrity Best Home Cook, or climbing volcanoes on Volcano Live, Ed’s TV and live appearances continue to entertain audiences across all platforms. With previous corporate experience and a knack for tailoring his sets to the crowd, Ed is guaranteed to deliver a night to remember at the IAAF Awards.
Mark Field, IAAF Chief Executive, said: “The evening entertainment is always one of the most anticipated parts of our annual event, and we’re absolutely delighted to welcome Ed Byrne to the stage this year. His quick wit and charisma are sure to have the room in stitches, the perfect way to round off a brilliant day for the independent aftermarket.”
