WAI strengthens UK sales team

WAI has announced the promotion of Luke Taylor to UK Sales Manager - Key Accounts to work alongside Louise Cartwright, UK Sales Manager. This change reinforces the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening customer relationships and enhancing service across the market.

Taylor’s promotion comes at a significant milestone for the business, following the successful completion of the integration of WAI and PSH over the last year. With the two organisations now fully aligned, all teams have been brought together under a unified structure, allowing WAI to operate with greater focus, scale and consistency across the globe.

In his new role, Taylor will take responsibility for managing and developing WAI’s key UK accounts, working closely with customers to support their growth and ensure they continue to benefit from WAI’s expanded product portfolio, improved logistics capabilities and enhanced technical support. Taylor will continue to report into Marc Roder, International Sales Director at WAI.

Taylor has been part of the business for several years and has built strong relationships across the sector. His deep understanding of customer needs and experience of WAI’s extended product ranges, makes him ideally placed to support customers as the business moves into its next phase of growth.

Marc Roder commented: “Strengthening our UK sales team is a natural step and reflects our wider strategy for future success and growth following the integration of both businesses. Bringing the teams together has created new opportunities to bolster how we support customers, and Luke will play a key role in ensuring our UK accounts benefit from that.”

Commenting on his promotion, Taylor said: “I’m delighted to step into my new role at such an exciting time for WAI. We move into 2026 with a stronger, more agile organisation and I’m looking forward to working even more closely with our customers and teams to help make the most of the opportunities and developments this year will bring.”

As WAI continues to invest in its operations and people as part of its wider growth strategy, the bolstered sales team will be responsible for ensuring customers continue to benefit from an expanded product range, streamlined operations and a dedicated sales team focused on long-term partnership and value.

The UK remains a strategically important market for WAI, and investing in its people is central to delivering the service, availability and expertise customers expect. The promotion of Taylor, working closely with Cartwright, under the leadership of Roder, supports WAI’s commitment to building an even stronger, more customer-focused sales team.

Richard Welland, Chief Commercial Offer at WAI Global, added: “I’m so pleased with how the integration of our UK sales teams has progressed. Luke’s promotion and realigning of our teams is a great example of how we are investing in our people to bolster our services. We truly believe we now have one of the strongest sales teams in the industry, and that puts us in a fantastic position to support our customers and drive continued growth in the UK and beyond!”
