Why should you attend the UK’s biggest Automotive Trade Event?
The countdown is officially on. With just a few days to go until Automechanika Birmingham 2025 opens its doors at the NEC (3–5 June), the UK’s biggest automotive aftermarket event is gearing up to welcome thousands of industry professionals, innovators and future talent for three high-impact days of business, learning and inspiration.
Whether you run a garage, manage a bodyshop, work on the tools, or you’re just starting your journey in the automotive world, Automechanika Birmingham is the one show you simply can’t afford to miss.
With over 550 leading brands on site, including Bosch, Delphi, Snap-On, Castrol, LIQUI MOLY, LKQ Euro Car Parts, SATA and more, visitors will be able to explore cutting-edge equipment, exclusive product launches and hands-on demos from the biggest names in the industry.
“I absolutely love everything about Automechanika. It’s the biggest — and in my opinion, the best show in the industry. All the major players are there, and if you’re serious about the motor trade, this is where you need to be. It’s an unbeatable opportunity to network, learn, and catch up with industry leaders,” said Louise Baker, Director of Womanic. “Every time I attend, I leave inspired, better connected, and full of ideas.”
More than 150 hours of free technical training and CPD-accredited content will be available throughout the event, covering everything from diagnostics, electrification and ADAS calibration to body repair processes and advanced spray techniques.
“Attending Automechanika Birmingham has transformed my garage,” explained Richard Atkinson, Managing Director of Atkinson Auto Tech Ltd. “We’re a busy garage, but having attended every event since 2018, we’ve always seen something new that helps us improve. Following the last event, our business grew by 25%. There’s even more of my team attending in 2025.”
Among the key features this year is the Workshop Hub in association with Autotechnician and sponsored by ebay, offering a packed agenda of sessions tailored to the real-world challenges of service, maintenance and repair professionals. The Aftermarket Hub sponsored by Delphi, will also return, presenting in-depth discussions and insights on the biggest trends affecting the industry – from futureproofing independent garages to emerging technologies.
The Paint & Spray Live stage sponsored by Masterflo and Body Repair Live, in association with Bodyshop magazine, stage will bring the latest innovations in refinishing and repair to life, with live demonstrations taking place in a fully operational spray booth. Meanwhile, the Innovation4Mobility Hub, in association with SMMT, will showcase next-gen developments in autonomous driving, electrification, alternative fuels and net-zero strategies.
And for younger visitors and jobseekers, Motorvate – a brand-new addition for 2025 – promises to be a standout experience. Designed to inspire the next generation, it offers hands-on challenges, live demos, and the chance to meet professional technicians, BTCC drivers and more. From diagnostics to logistics, Motorvate shows just how many doors the automotive industry can open.
“Automechanika is a must-attend event,” added Tim Benson, Owner of Oldfields Garage Services Ltd. “So much so that all of our team from workshop through to front of house have the opportunity to attend over the three days. It’s really valuable for us to engage with the industry – and what better way to do that than at an event like this?”
And if that’s not enough, showgoers can also meet TV presenter and technician Edd China, who joins Headline Sponsor Bosch Training Solutions to share his journey into EV training, alongside appearances from BTCC stars Dan Rowbottom and Dan Cammish, influencer Baz Meredith, and drifting pro Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni.
