ZF continues to deliver training with second ZF [pro]Tech Plus session
ZF Aftermarket has once again opened the doors of its state-of-the-art training facility at Blythe Valley Business Park in Solihull for a second round of immersive training tailored for ZF [pro]Tech Plus members. This hands-on technical event focused on boosting practical skills and knowledge around modern transmission systems.
The two-day course covered the intricacies of ZF’s 8HP transmission range, including hybrid applications, as well as DCT and DSG technology and the operation of Sachs dual clutch systems. With real-world examples and in-depth diagnostic guidance from the ZF UK technical team, delegates received practical insights to bring back to their workshops.
Participants also toured ZF’s on-site R&D centre and engaged in open discussion during a live Q&A with the UK technical experts.
Feedback from attendees was once again overwhelmingly positive. Stuart McLeod, Technical Support and Training Lead at ZF Aftermarket, said:
“It was another superb session. There’s nothing like getting professionals into the training room and seeing them leave with even more confidence, clarity, and capability. These events are all about equipping garages with the knowledge they need to tackle complex transmissions and hybrid systems, and to feel part of a wider technical community.”
Steve Carter from Carter Automotive also praised the experience, saying: “The training was absolutely first class, informative, practical and very relevant to what we’re seeing in the workshop. It’s great to have this level of support from ZF, and the networking side of things really added to the value of the two days.”
To round off day one, delegates took to the simulators at Birmingham’s F1 Arcade for a competitive evening of virtual racing, networking and team-building over dinner and drinks, an opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals and strengthen ties across the aftermarket.
