Driveshafts and brake calipers added to Shaftec’s New To Range portfolio

Birmingham-based automotive remanufacturer Shaftec Automotive reveal that eight driveshafts and five brake calipers have been added to its ever-expanding New To Range collection for July.

Key applications for the new driveshafts include the IS100LR for the Isuzu D-Max (2012-2022), the ME326L/ME326R and ME327L/ME327R for the Mercedes-Benz Vito (2019), and the ME328L/ME328R for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (2020).

A number of key applications for the new brake calipers include the BC10032RED for the Audi A1 Allstreet (2022), the BC20032RED for the Skoda Octavia IV Combi (2024), and the BC12059BLK for the Tesla Model S (2013).

These new parts follow the 11 new driveshafts that were added to the New To Range collection in May.

Here are some signs that your driveshafts might need changing:

·       Inspect the driveshaft: Look for any signs of damage, such as cracks or dents.

·       Check the inner/outer joints: Check for any play or looseness.

·       Check for vibrations: If you feel any vibrations while driving, it could indicate a damaged driveshaft.

·       Listen for noises: If you hear any clunking or grinding noises while driving, it could indicate a damaged driveshaft.
