Exol expands coolant range with new Opticool Antifreeze Orange
Exol Lubricants has expanded its high-quality product portfolio with the launch of Opticool Antifreeze Orange (D052), a high-performance heavy-duty engine coolant.
Free from nitrites, amines, phosphates, borax & silicates, Opticool Antifreeze Orange delivers advanced protection, extended service life and excellent system compatibility.
The coolant’s sophisticated inhibitor package ensures outstanding corrosion resistance across all metals and alloys used in modern cooling systems, particularly aluminium. It also includes a neutralisation package to combat the adverse effects of brazing flux used during the manufacture of aluminium heat exchangers, extending component life and reducing maintenance requirements.
The performance benefits of Exol’s latest new-to-range include: an extended coolant life with corrosion inhibitors that have a very low depletion rate and high thermal stability, designed to withstand the increased temperatures of modern engines.
Plus, enhanced water pump protection, thanks to the elimination of abrasive solids, frost protection depending on concentration and excellent antifoaming characteristics and compatibility with all water qualities - use of deionised water recommended.
Opticool Antifreeze Orange is suitable for a wide range of heavy-duty and OEM applications, including Caterpillar, John Deere, Jaguar Land Rover, Peugeot, Citroen, Volvo, Perkins, and Massey Ferguson. It also meets or exceeds major global standards.
Exol recommends a 50 percent coolant-to-water concentration for optimum performance, with higher concentrations available for colder climates.
Simon Matthews, Product Development Manager at Exol Lubricants, commented: “The addition of Opticool Antifreeze Orange strengthens our coolant portfolio and provides customers with a versatile, high-quality solution suitable for a wide range of modern heavy-duty applications. Its formulation delivers exceptional performance and long-term protection, helping fleets and workshops reduce maintenance intervals and optimise engine reliability.”
