High-torque digital adaptor converts any 3/4" ratchet into a precision torque wrench
Accurate tightening of high-torque fasteners is essential in commercial vehicle, plant and motorsport applications, but dedicated large-capacity torque wrenches can be expensive and take up valuable workshop space. The new Laser Tools 9410 Digital Torque Adaptor offers a practical alternative, instantly converting any standard 3/4" drive ratchet or power bar into a precision digital torque wrench capable of accurately applying up to 1,000Nm.
Suitable for use with existing 3/4" drive tools, including Laser Tools power bars and ratchets, the adaptor measures torque from 200Nm to 1,000Nm, providing an accuracy of ±2% clockwise and ±3% anti-clockwise. This makes it ideal for tightening critical fasteners on HGVs, buses, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, race cars and heavy-duty industrial machinery.
The clear digital display offers a choice of Nm, lb-ft and kg-m units, while selectable Peak and Track operating modes allow technicians to monitor either the maximum torque achieved or live torque as it is applied. Audible and LED alerts signal when the preset torque value has been reached, helping prevent over-tightening and improving consistency on safety-critical fasteners.
Powered by two AA batteries, the adaptor provides approximately 50 hours of operating time and stores up to 50 torque readings in its internal memory. As with all Laser Tools mechanical and digital torque products, it is supplied with a certificate of conformance and calibration produced at the point of manufacture in accordance with ISO 6789-1:2017.
Designed for professional use, the Laser Tools 9410 is intended for use with manual drive tools only and must not be used with impact wrenches.
